Midwest Fertilizer Company and Federal and State Officials Celebrate the Proposed Fertilizer Manufacturing Project in Posey County, Indiana

At the 6th SelectUSA Investment Summit recently held in Washington D.C., the Honorable Wilbur Ross, Secretary, U.S. Department of Commerce in his keynote address discussed 5 foreign entities currently making investments in the U.S in which Midwest Fertilizer was directly referenced by name as one of those significant investments. Featured speakers included Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, Secretary of Energy Rick Perry and Governors from eight states, including Governor Eric Holcomb from State of Indiana. The event was also attended by Ms. Ivanka Trump, Advisor to the US President.

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation also recognized Midwest Fertilizer Company LLC for its positive investment in the United States leading to job creation and economic growth.

U.S. Department of Commerce Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing Ian Steff and Indiana Economic Development Corporation President Elaine Bedel joined Fatima Group Director Fahd Mukhtar and Midwest Fertilizer Company CEO Les Wright in signing a certificate celebrating the state-of-the-art fertilizer plant planned for Posey County, Indiana.

"Our project continues to receive tremendous support and we look forward to building and operating a world-class nitrogenous fertilizer manufacturing facility in Southwest Indiana."
